This vegetable steam is in great condition. You put this steamer in a pot and adding water to the bottom of the pot. Add your vegetables and cover the pot with a lid your vegetable will steam instead of boil. This is a great way to steam vegetables and they taste so much better steamed. The steamer is 5 1/5 inches in diameter when folded up and 9 inches in diameter when completely expanded. Made of stainless steal this vegetable steamer should never rust. I personally have to of them and know that they fold for storage and are dishwasher safe.
